From the moment she stepped onto the boat, she knew something extraordinary was about to happen. He had told her they were going on a fun adventure together for the day, but the colorful florals, custom signs, and intricate setup gave away that this was more than just a casual outing.
Every inch of the boat was adorned with lush, colorful flowers—her absolute favorite. We designed a huge semi-circle floral arrangement that framed the deck, creating a dreamy, intimate space for the proposal. Cozy picnic-style pillows and blankets were arranged within the blooms, creating a soft, inviting atmosphere where the couple could relax and soak in the moment. The whimsical nautical touches, paired with a playful color palette, perfectly reflected her love for all things bright and joyful.
The custom details made this proposal truly personal. Treasure chests, nodding to the boat theme, filled with meaningful surprises: a custom embroidered blanket featuring their soon-to-be shared last name, a photo book filled with their favorite memories together, and custom engraved glassware for their celebratory champagne toast. One of our favorite touches was a directional sign pointing to all the special locations from their relationship—each one representing a meaningful chapter of their journey.
The Proposal
As they explored the boat together, taking in the colorful blooms and thoughtful details, the moment finally arrived. Surrounded by beauty, he got down on one knee. Her reaction was priceless—overwhelmed with excitement and joy, she couldn’t stop laughing and smiling as she said yes. The ring, absolutely stunning, added even more sparkle to the day, and they celebrated the moment with a champagne toast and a cozy cuddle within their floral oasis.
But the surprises didn’t end there! To create a full day of memories, we included a “paint and sip for two” setup onboard, allowing them to create their own masterpiece while cruising through the harbor. With a delicious charcuterie board, champagne, and a creative activity to enjoy together, they spent the rest of their evening laughing, painting, and celebrating their engagement in a unique and playful way that felt authentically them.
