On their eighth anniversary, Ruby planned the perfect day to surprise her beloved. Knowing how much her partner cherished both horseback riding and nature, she arranged a private two-hour horseback tour through the stunning back mountains of California. Little did Patricia know, this private horseback tour turned into their beginning of forever!
As they rode, the trail led them through some of the most breathtaking and secluded areas, allowing them to reminisce about their journey together over the past eight years.
The Proposal
The ride culminated as they returned to the trailer, but the surprises were far from over. In a picturesque clearing near the trailer, grand “Marry Me” marquee letters awaited, lit up brilliantly and surrounded by Patricia’s favorite flowers. The dark, moody florals in rich tones of burgundy, plum, and deep green added a touch of dramatic elegance to the scene. The surprise was perfectly tailored to her partner’s taste and style, leaving her speechless with joy and astonishment.
But the thoughtful touches didn’t end there. Displayed around the marquee letters were photo memories from each year they had spent together. These beautifully framed photos chronicled their journey, capturing the essence of their love story from the early days of their relationship to their shared adventures and cherished moments. Each picture evoked powerful emotions, reminding them both of how far they had come together.
The Big Moment!
Overwhelmed with emotion, Ruby then dropped to one knee and proposed. Her heartfelt proposal, combined with the beautiful setting, left Patricia in tears of happiness.
