Here are just a few trusty items that you can’t go wrong with when popping the question.
Battery Operated Candles
We recommend these quite often in replacement of open flame votives and/or hurricanes. If you are indoors and the venue allows you to have burning candles then go for it! However, if you are proposing outdoors near the beach, snow, gardens, fields, etc. then battery operated candles are your new best friend. If the are placed in mason jars or glass votives you can’t even tell they’re flameless. You can buy these in bulk so you have plenty to enhance the romantic ambiance. There is nothing quite like a glowing setting.
You can never go wrong with a mix of her favorite songs playing in the background. Nowadays, you or someone close to you has an ipod and ipod speakers, so use what you already have to set a sweet melody to your proposal.
Picture Frames
If you are struggling with ways to add more personalized touches to your proposal setting, add your photos! It does wonders and it’s free! Use frames from your house and fill them with photos from your favorite places, events and moments together. It’s like walking down memory lane with only the joyful memories.
Beverages and Dessert
Let’s just be frank. You can’t go wrong with getting a girl her favorite dessert and a glass of her favorite beverage. It’s worth having these delicious goodies waiting to celebrate her “yes!” Plus, chocolate cake and a glass of champagne just look amazing together, so really you’re also beautifying your proposal location.
