Beyond simply being the world’s wedding capital, Las Vegas is increasingly becoming known as a luxurious destination, making it particularly ideal for couples planning an expensive wedding. YouGov’s Destination Rankings 2024 survey indicates that a third (33%) of luxury travelers prefer to vacation in Las Vegas, closely following Hawaii (35%) among top spots. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s Visitor Profile found that the city also welcomed more higher-income visitors in 2024, with nearly nine in ten (87%) being “very satisfied” with their visit.

Las Vegas’s luxurious appeal is partly attributed to its high-stakes gaming culture, which is strongly tied to five-star casino resorts. Live poker thrives in elegant gaming venues with tens of millions in prize money, thus attracting top celebrities, athletes, business tycoons, and other high-rollers to hotels and casinos. Despite not having state-run virtual card rooms, online poker in Nevada is also active. The reputable, internationally licensed platform Americas Cardroom, for one, has earned a loyal following among Nevada gamers. In addition to its safe offshore operations, the online poker site enables players to qualify for live tournaments in Las Vegas, such as the elite Vegas Moneymaker May-Hem at the Horseshoe Hotel.

Overall, these contribute to Las Vegas’ further success and reputation as a billion-dollar tourist destination, reaching $55.1 billion in revenue in 2024. Given the city’s status as a haven for extravagant tastes and lifestyles, here’s where to have the most expensive wedding of your dreams.

Caesars Palace has always been known as a gaming hotspot, and it has even opened a new poker room for the upcoming World Series of Poker. However, its parent company, Caesars Entertainment, has recently invested significantly in its wedding packages, now making Caesars Palace the perfect setting for couples’ upscale ceremony and reception plans.

Caesars Palace’s collection of wedding venues, ranging from the remarkably elegant Classico Chapel to the idyllic and lush foliage of the Juno Garden, can cost up to $40,000. Its all-in package, which starts at $20,000, already includes free services from professionals like a ceremony coordinator, photographer, and musician. However, you can still customize the experience to fit your exact wedding vision.

Like Caesars Palace, Wynn Las Vegas is also a go-to destination for gaming, having hosted prestigious events like the World Poker Tour World Championship. But it has also successfully catered to couples looking for an expensive wedding venue through its various Wedding Salons.

For example, the Lilac Salon provides the exclusivity essential to an intimate ceremony, while the Primrose Court presents a private courtyard to maintain the luxury of bigger weddings. Its most expensive package, The Symphony, starts at $30,000, but Wynn Las Vegas’ experienced wedding staff can help you choose the right inclusions for your ceremony and overall stay.

Bellagio’s sophisticated and elegant atmosphere goes beyond its 1,200-foot Fountains, which have become a must-see attraction in Vegas over the years. The five-star hotel and casino also offers luxurious wedding venues to satisfy your wishes down to the very last detail.

If you want the iconic Bellagio Fountains as the backdrop for your ceremony, the Cosa Bella Fountain Courtyard can be booked for an hour, with prices starting at $16,000. Meanwhile, the Terraza di Sogno is available for night weddings, helping you bring your European dreams to life with its classic columns and overlooking views of the Vegas cityscape.

On top of housing the most luxurious casino resorts where you can tie the knot, Las Vegas is also filled with simple yet intimate spots suited for a renewal of vows. A previous post shows how the internet-famous couple Noah and Lori (@noahandlori on TikTok) had a photoshoot in their hotel room and a casino, before heading out to renew their vows at a Vegas strip chapel.
