This one is for all of you Harry Potter lovers out there! Darshan came to us looking to wow his girlfriend with a romantic and meaningful proposal, when we found out that she was a huge Harry Potter fan we could not resist pulling some nods from the books and movies to create this breathtaking proposal. In Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, The Mirror of Erised shows the viewer’s greatest desire. Darshan’s greatest desire is to build a life with Aalee – we were swooning over the idea of having a Mirror of Erised with the words “you are everything my heart desires” written on it as the focal point of the proposal. From there we added beautiful flowers and greenery with an abundance of gold candelabra. We could not think of a more perfect setting for this proposal, the library brings the whole proposal together in a magical way. If these pictures don’t already have you daydreaming of this fairytale proposal, Darshan and Aalee have a 10-year-old lab mix together that he described as the center of their lives – we knew we had to include sweet Zeeba in the proposal and what better way to do that than through another Harry Potter reference! After Darshan and Aalee had a moment to take in all of the space, a friend brought their adorable dog into the room with a tag on her collar reading “will you take the unbreakable vow?” before he got down on bended knee.

We love this couple’s love story and could not be happier for them! Congratulations Darshan and Aalee!
